There is a movement of God on the earth that is calling women into the reality of who they are and into the healing and freedom that was always intended for them.
Beauty for Ashes is a part of that movement.
Beauty for Ashes is an opportunity for women to be restored to wholeness through Jesus Christ. We aim to provide women with safe communities worldwide where they can exchange their ashes of isolation, shame and wounds from the past for the crowns of beauty that God promised us in Isaiah 61. The vision of B4A is to see restored women of all nations serving as Christ’s ambassadors for change, healing, and freedom in their homes, communities and cultures. This is accomplished by empowering women to experience God’s restoration and hope through storytelling and community. When women have a safe place to tell their stories, we have seen God, with His incredible power to heal and restore, come and invade lives and transform them into the women they were created to be. This is our heartbeat. This environment of safety and community is created through Beauty for Ashes Retreats, a time set aside to be together with other women seeking God’s heart in storytelling.

Beauty for Ashes Retreats last anywhere between one and three days, where women are invited to come away to experience the healing touch of God. Each retreat includes drawing activities, the purpose of which is to help break down walls that often keep women from sharing their hearts with others. There are times of prayer and worship, teaching, and storytelling. All who attend are invited to share their stories with their fellow sisters. Together, these women will help one another walk into new levels of healing, joy, and strength.
